High School Gazelles
High school athletes come together in this fun, yet challenging group to work on improving their running for both general fitness and competition. If you are preparing for the fall cross country season, this group provides a path to achieving individual goals. M/W workouts are group recovery runs and T/TH will be a quality workout led by Coach Gilbert.
Runners will practice the following techniques:
- Speed enhancement
- Agility drills
- Core strengthening
- Power building
- Interval training
- Endurance training
- Flexibility strategies
- Self-improvement and self-esteem building
- Nutrition advice
8 weeks (June 4 – July 28)
Locations vary depending on the workout but usually utilize the Austin High track or Zilker Park. Workouts are listed on our Training Schedule.
STUDENTS, MILITARY PERSONNEL AND FAMILIES may receive a discount. Contact us before you register to see if you qualify.
