Young athletes come together in this fun, yet challenging group to focus on running fundamentals, both for general fitness and competition. If you are curious to try a formal running program or preparing for the fall cross country season, this group provides a path to achieving individual goals.
Coach Gilbert leads the Youth Gazelles in learning proper running methods and mechanics during their sessions using the following techniques:
- Speed enhancement
- Agility drills
- Core strengthening
- Power building
- Interval training
- Endurance training
- Flexibility strategies
- Self-improvement and self-esteem building
- Nutrition advice
Locations vary depending on the workout but usually utilize the Austin High track.

$40 monthly (M or W only)
