START TIMES:

10-16 milers leaving Gazelles HQ at 5:45am.
Beginners and 5-8 milers go from Gazelles HQ 6:30am

THE MAPS

If you start earlier (or later) than your group's call time, please check with your pace pals to make sure your team is all starting at the same time. As always, if you start way before the scheduled start times, please take water to cover yourselves for that first water stop (or two) in case you're ahead of the logistical team. We're touring the UT loop out and back this week.

5 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and go out to Congress bridge. Go up and across LB Lake on Congress bridge. Up Congress to 11th. Go through Capitol grounds and onto Congress again at north side of Capitol, to water stop near 17th Street. Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to LB Lake. Congress, to and through Capitol grounds, and then Congress down to Cesar Chavez and north side trail and back to GZLs HQ.

7 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and go out to Congress bridge. Go up and across LB Lake on Congress bridge. Up Congress to 11th. Go through Capitol grounds and onto Congress again at north side of Capitol, to MLK. Right on MLK to San Jacinto into UT campus. Go San Jacinto through campus up to large parking deck on right past the Fine Arts building. Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to LB Lake. San Jacinto to and through UT campus. Veer right at bottom campus at oil derrick over to MLK. Right on MLK up to Congress, left on Congress, to and through Capitol grounds, and then Congress down and across bridge to SS trail. SS Trail over to Pfluger footbridge, and back across LB Lake to north side trail and back to GZLs HQ.

8 Miles: Your map is here. GZLs HQ to southside trail, and go out to Congress bridge. Go up and across LB Lake on Congress bridge. Up Congress to 11th. Go through Capitol grounds and onto Congress again at north side of Capitol, to MLK. Right on MLK to San Jacinto to and through UT campus. On north side of campus, veer onto Duval. Up Duval to E. 31st and the bottom edge of the Seminary on your right. Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to LB Lake. Duval down to San Jacinto to and through UT campus. Veer right at bottom campus at oil derrick over to MLK. Right on MLK up to Congress, left on Congress, to and through Capitol grounds, and then Congress down and across bridge to SS trail. SS Trail over to Pfluger footbridge, and back across LB Lake to north side trail and back to GZLs HQ.

SS Trail over to Pfluger footbridge, and back across LB Lake to north side trail and back to GZLs HQ.

Up Duval to 51st St. Left on 51st over to the first edge of the UT Intramural fields and tennis courts. Turn around there, and retrace your steps back to LB Lake. 51st back over to Duval. Duval down to San Jacinto to and through UT campus. Veer right at bottom campus at oil derrick over to MLK. Right on MLK up to Congress, left on Congress, to and through Capitol grounds, and then Congress down and across bridge to SS trail. SS Trail over to Pfluger footbridge, and back across LB Lake to north side trail and back to GZLs HQ.

Right on MLK up to Congress, left on Congress, to and through Capitol grounds, and then Congress down and across bridge to SS trail. Turn around at Burnett, and retrace your steps back to LB Lake. Morrow to Woodrow back to Arroyo Seco, to Romeria, to Woodrow, to North Loop, over to Guadalupe, down to 51st. 51st over to Duval. Duval down to San Jacinto to and through UT campus. Veer right at bottom campus at oil derrick over to MLK. Right on MLK up to Congress, left on Congress, to and through Capitol grounds, and then Congress down and across bridge to SS trail. SS Trail over to Pfluger footbridge, and back across LB Lake to north side trail and back to GZLs HQ. NOTE: For full 20, feel free to add a half victory lap around Auditorium Shores on your return before crossing on the Pfluger bridge.

Behind Northcross mall on Northcross, and left on Foster. Foster over to Shoal Creek. Turn around at Shoal Creek, and retrace your steps back to LB Lake. Foster to Northcross to Morrow to Woodrow back to Arroyo Seco, to Romeria, to Woodrow, to North Loop, over to Guadalupe, down to 51st. 51st over to Duval. Duval down to San Jacinto to and through UT campus. Veer right at bottom campus at oil derrick over to MLK. Right on MLK up to Congress, left on Congress, to and through Capitol grounds, and then Congress down and across bridge to SS trail. SS Trail over to Pfluger footbridge, and back across LB Lake to north side trail and back to GZLs HQ. NOTE: For full 22, feel free to add a victory lap around Auditorium Shores on your return before crossing on the Pfluger bridge.

THE MARATHONS:

August 26th -27th (Wausau/Santa Rosa): 18-22 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 22 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

Sept 24th (Berlin): 14-18 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 18 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

Oct 1st (Twin Cities/Wineglass/Maine):  10-14 mile recovery long run. Back off a bit from last week. Start time 5:45am.

Oct 7th/8th (Chicago/St. George/Portland): 12-16 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 16 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

Oct 21st/22nd (M2M, MCM): 10-14 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 14 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

Nov. 5th (NYC): 10-14 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 14 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

Nov. 18th (Philly): 9-12 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 12 mile max. Start time 5:45am.

BEGINNER GAZELLES, HALF MARATHONERS, and EVERYBODY ELSE:

Beginner Gazelles! This week, 3-7 miles. Choose a distance amongst your pace pals, up to that 7 mile max. Start time 6:30am.

Everybody Else (GZLs peeps): 7-12 miles. If you went 12 last week, maybe cut back to 7-10 this week. For anything else, add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 12 mile mark. Start time 5:45am.

Oct. 1st (Wineglass Half): 5-8 mile recovery run. Start time 6:30am.

Nov. 17th (Philly Half): 7-10 miles. Add 1-2 miles to your last longer long run, up to that 10 mile max. Start time 5:45am.
