What prompted you to join Gazelles and when did you join?
I joined in 2015 after I had run my first marathon. I wanted to do another, but faster and stronger. I also wanted to find more friends in the running community.
Which group do you run with?
Afternoon T/TH group.
What's your favorite workout and why?
400 repeats - There's something so satisfying about running a high volume of laps consistently and quickly.
How has Gazelles changed your running/life?
Gazelles has had a profound impact on my personal life since it's helped me build some life long friendships. There's no shortage of inspiration when you look at this group of runners. Gazelles has taught me how to become a confident runner and find joy in running even when it gets tough.
What’s your favorite Gilbert-ism or best story about him?
Gilbert is always at the workouts to welcome us with a smile and sometimes bribes us with cold watermelon if it's super hot outside.
