Running with joy in Pauillac, France

What prompted you to join Gazelles and when did you join?
I joined Gazelles in May this year to train for the Patagonia marathon I ran in September. As that was successful, I am now training for 3M in January with the group!

Which group do you run with?
I run with the M/W 5:30am group as I am a morning person.

What's your favorite workout and why?
Saturday long runs as running is an outlet for my mind to relax, reflect on life and/or think through things that have taken place that week.

How has Gazelles changed your running/life?
I moved to Austin in September 2017 so it has helped me settle back into Austin a little easier as I have met some awesome fellow runners!

What’s your favorite Gilbert-ism or best story about him?
Hands down, Gilbert's energetic and positive attitude is my favorite and it is so refreshing to be around as it’s a self reminder to live life with such positivity no matter if you have 20 miles to do or a rough day work day ahead! “You’re awesome!”

Each Gazelle featured in the Member Highlight has been selected randomly from our active member list.
