Intro to Gazelles Sept session begins

IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING NO MILEAGE OR LOW MILEAGE (2 MILES OR LESS), THIS IS THE GROUP FOR YOU.

Our goal is to help you build confidence and endurance before you jump into one of our regular training groups.

Austin Fit Magazine’s six-time “Best Running Coach” in Austin, Gilbert Tuhabonye, will help you become the runner you want to be. This introductory program focuses on the basics of running—good running form, strength and confidence no matter your running abilities. After one month, you will be ready to join any of our other training groups.

Labor Day Community Workout

Everyone in the community is welcome to join us for our Labor Day workout. WE’ll meet at Gazelles HQ/The Loop at 7:00 a.m. for a special circuit workout. See you all there!

If you’re joining our Intro to Gazelles group this day, please stay a little after the circuit workout to talk to Gilbert about the group and ask any questions you may have.

CIM Destination Marathon Kick-Off!

An information session will be held for those wanting to train for December and January marathons, including our destination marathon in California! We are traveling to the California International Marathon in Sacramento on Dec. 8th for a great Gazelles weekend. Come meet other runners and hear about this race, along with other December/January race training.

High School Gazelles Starts

High school athletes come together in this fun, yet challenging group to work on improving their running for both general fitness and competition. If you are preparing for the fall cross country season, this group will help you build a strong foundation and gain strength to help achieve your season goals.

SeaWheeze Half Marathon Kick-Off Session

A kickoff session will be held for those training with Gilbert’s Gazelles for the SeaWheeze Half Marathon. Come meet other runners and hear about what we have in store for this group. We will cover accommodations, group activities in Vancouver and training events.

Training session dates are May 6 through race day, August 17, 2019.
