Strengthen Your Core!
The first workout of the week (Monday or Tuesday) is with the Gazelles. The workout is focused on strengthening your core in preparation for marathon training and to prevent injury. The group will do drills, and work on techniques to put you on the fast track, focusing on the biomechanics, strength and balance which is the foundation for the Gazelles training program philosophies.

Run on the Trail!
The second workout of the week (Wednesday or Thursday) will be on the trail. No track! No concrete! Give your body a break from the harsh impact of the track & concrete, but maintain endurance by running on the trail. The workouts will be a variation of fartlek, progressive runs and tempos.

Saturday With the Herd!
Join the Gazelle herd for Saturday mornings long runs on the trail. Distance will range from 7 to 12 miles and the pace should be progressive (starting easy and speeding it up along the way).
