Summer Program for Middle and High School Students

Gilbert's Gazelles will once again conduct a summer camp for middle and high school students ages 12 to 18 to help them prepare for their Fall Cross Country season. The program runs June 2 through July 31 and focuses attention on strength while also improving endurance and speed.
The workouts include:
- Core strength through circuit to balance muscles overused in running
- Hill workouts to develop running power
- Polymetric exercises to help with form
- Intervals on grass and trails to increase speed
- Long runs on weekend to aid endurance
Sessions will be held Monday and Wednesday from 8:00-9:30am and Saturday at 8am.
Cost: $100 or $180 for two.
