Great Weekend for Gazelles

From Kona to Chicago to Austin, this past weekend proved to be a huge weekend for a number of Gazelles.
Topping off the list, Desiree Ficker came up with a big second place finish at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Of course Desiree finished strong in the marathon portion with the second fastest time in that event. Overall results here.
Closer to home, John Keane and Patrick Evoe finished one-two in the Girl Scouts Scenic 10 Miler, with Floyd Watson winning the Masters division, Ivi Kerrigan winning her age group, and a host of other Gazelles running and finishing great. Finally, more than a dozen Gazelles made their way to the Windy City and competed in the tough Chicago Marathon.
