Free Burundian Coffee this Saturday after Long Run!

Sep 1, 2009

During my travels to Burundi last December, I was able to get my hands on a large quantity of coffee beans through a local farmer who was taking his harvest to the market. Gilbert had ranted and raved about how good the coffee was, and I promised him that I would bring some back! For those who don't know much about Burundian coffee, it is prized throughout the world, especially the beans that are grown at the higher elevations across the mountains of the country. Starbucks sells a small bag for $15-$20.

But this Saturday, our good friend from Fair Bean Coffee who has a coffee bar inside RunTex and down the road off South First has kindly volunteered his services to roast the beans and then prepare them for us!

After the long run on Saturday stick around as he'll be passing it out to all Gazelles - free of charge, of course!
